Cynthia Thompson created the Shine and Fly group to help women FLY. FLY, which stands for "Finally Love Yourself," aims to help women become healthier physically and mentally! The group is a place for women to gather to talk about their struggles, experience positivity, encouragement, and support, share recipes, and inspire others. It's about healing from the mental and physical struggles many women face through fellowship and support. The mission statement for Shine and Fly is: Every woman has a story to share. As Cynthia puts it, "It’s my job to help them share it!" The group is designed for monthly meet-ups with inspirational speakers and guests as well as online encouragement through the Facebook page: Shine and Fly Sunshine Sisters.
