Gracious Home is a Manhattan institution that has happily found its way to Franklin. Opened in 1963, it was Manhattan’s original must-go-to home décor location. Customers were so loyal that soon Gracious Home found themselves carrying everything from beautiful pillows to elegant lighting - anything their customers needed to beautifully outfit their home. In 2017, Gracious Home reinvented itself and began to expand. They moved their corporate office to Franklin along with a brand-new store front that opened at 1124 W McEwen Drive in Franklin in early 2021.

Still maintaining their service-first mission, they are a luxury home décor store with  offerings that are stunningly classic, on-trend and indulgent. Customers will find custom beds and furniture, gorgeous scents and lighting, exclusive lines of bedding,  with cookware soon to come.

Not simply things for one’s own home, Gracious Home is a fantastic place for a unique gift. Gifts and accessories that range from lovely thick stationary, to sweet soft plush toys for the littlest ones. Gracious Home also offers gift registries for brides, parents-to-be, and housewarmings registries. They hope the experience makes shopping off a registry fun again!

Using items from the store, Gracious Home has set a stunning set of different Thanksgiving tablescapes. Having incredible decor experience and knowing all the tips and tricks, they suggest layering. Setting a beautiful and interesting table is the goal. It’s much more fun when mixing patterns, brands and materials. Layering placemats and dinnerware is key. The real secret is making sure there is some consistency throughout, like the color scheme or specific pattern chosen. A great rule of thumb is to find a solid, along with a larger print and a gorgeous small design you love.

For the array of table settings Gracious Home put together, they used some pieces from Kim Syebert, Michael Aram, Vietri, Christian Lacroix for Vista Alegre and Royal Limoges. Prices are available upon request, ranging from $45-$750. Layering is not only applicable in the table but in the price point and age of the items. Add a few heirloom favorites, some wonderful new pieces and add some more affordable ones with the most luxurious….and voilà!
