What was the inspiration behind the new Tilda’s Bow collection?
I remember the beauty of my mother’s long, perfectly smooth hair and how sometimes she would add a velvet bow. For me, the bow was so elegant - it was tied tightly yet still retained its lightness, organic shape and volume so that it danced in her hair all day long. With the new collection, we wanted to capture the moment when a bow has just been freshly tied by hand - its movement, harmonious proportions and beautiful fluidity.
How would you describe the pieces? How are they different from your signature collections?
The jewels in the Tilda’s Bow collection are designed to complement, not perfectly match, each other. Each Tilda’s Bow jewel is subtly different and features an individually designed bow that is unique within the collection. We have also used a variety of diamond cuts to illuminate the ribbons - pavé diamonds, which together form a shimmering surface of stones, round diamonds and custom cut emerald cut diamonds that, set side by side, trace the bow’s sculptural curves.
What is your favorite piece from Tilda’s Bow? Where can the new pieces be purchased?
