This pineapple stuffing dish is a sweeter bread dressing that provides a delicious option to traditional savory stuffing. This surprise, fluffy side dish goes especially well with ham and chicken. The casserole is made with only a handful of ingredients, making it simple to prepare a day ahead of time.

PREP TIME:  15 minutes

YIELD:  6 cups

SERVINGS:  8-10

INGREDIENTS

1 can (20 ounce) crushed pineapple
1 stick butter or margarine, softened
4 eggs
1 cup sugar
5 bread slices, stale and cubed

DIRECTIONS

Cream butter and sugar. Scramble eggs and add to mixture. Mix in pineapple and fold in bread. Put in greased casserole. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour until golden on top.

Transfer leftovers to covered container within 2 hours; refrigerate for up to three days.
