Granite Empire

Leaving No Stone Unturned

With over 11 years of dedicated experience and a stellar staff who prides itself on delivering outstanding customer service, Granite Empire of Mount Juliet is a gem in its own right.

We recently met up with Florin Cristea, cofounder of the Mount Juliet Granite Empire, to get a bit more educated not only in the granite, marble, and quartz industry, but also in the impressive way they partner with clients to not only meet, but exceed, all expectations.

“I was working as a locksmith in Los Angeles, and was so unhappy living in such a crowded city full of people who weren’t particularly nice,” says Florin. “I had a friend working at Granite Empire in Nashville and he suggested I visit and check out the city. That was in the summer of 2019 and I never left!”

Florin explains that Granite Empire wasn’t that large of a company when he first moved here, but during the pandemic business starting booming and has stayed that way since. “I told the owner of the Nashville location I wanted to move forward in the business, and he replied, ‘Don’t worry; you’ll have your chance.’”

The owner kept his word and promoted Florin to the sales floor. “He liked my work ethic and told me he was planning to open some additional show rooms – one being in Mount Juliet.” The rest was history, and Granite Empire Mount Juliet opened in October 2020. A second and third great outcome from working at the Nashville location was Florin meeting his wife there, and they just became the proud parents of a baby girl. Florin is set to open a second Granite Empire location in Bellevue in about one month.

“We treat all our clients like the most valuable partners and are aiming for a long-term partnership. We don’t just try to satisfy our clients requirements, but rather exceed their expectations.”

Granite Empire works with both homeowners and businesses. Florin notes that in addition to kitchen countertops, granite, marble, and quartz can be used for remodeling bathroom vanities, sinks, and showers, kitchen backsplashes, and hot tubs.
“We have over 200 colors of stone for clients to choose from. In the event they don’t find what they’re looking for, we can order the exact stone they want from the manufacturer,” he says. Florin adds that edging options include eased, quarter round, half round, and quarter bevel.

Plan to call Granite Empire for your next remodeling project. You’ll undoubtedly be treated like a gem. GraniteMJ.com
