Finding fun ways to bring the community together is Matt Estrin’s business goal. Matt’s creative cocktail skills are what make him best in the business. And why not enjoy a beer while getting in some axe throwing? With his passion for making specialty drinks Matt is sure to blend, shake, and stir the business world.

By now we all know great businessmen usually start in their garage. Matt Estrin is no exception. While working as a Worship Pastor, Matt was using his garage to study distilling. From his creations sprouted a new business, known today as 477 Distillery. To further his studies, Matt went to Moonshine University, Kentucky. The #1 distilling school in the nation. A perfect fit for this Bourbon loving mastermind to exercise his talent. While their menu changes with the seasons, one item is always there; The Living Legend is, what Matt calls, a new old fashioned. Named after Matt’s Grandfather, who helped them in starting their business.

Once 477 Distillery opened, in June of 2019, Matt pushed his dream further. He became part owner of Greeley Hatchet House, an axe throwing entertainment venue. “It’s fun to be part of the history. We’re in the footsteps of people who have paved the way for hundreds of years.”  Creativity and dedication shine through with every venture Matt takes on.

"Greeley is an amazing city that won me over. After 11 years I wouldn't want to live anywhere else"
