Green Tea Kale Smoothie

Gwynn Galvin of Swirls of Flavor is back this month with a healthy and refreshing treat for our Health & Wellness Issue! Packed with nutrients and flavor, this easy smoothie is perfect for starting your day with a boost or sneaking some greens into your routine.

Ingredients:
• 1 cup brewed green tea, cooled
• 1 cup kale, stems removed
• 1 banana
• 1/2 cup frozen pineapple chunks
• 1/2 cup frozen mango chunks
• 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (optional)

Directions:

  1. Prep & Blend: Brew green tea and let it cool. Add the cooled tea, kale, banana, pineapple, and mango to a blender.

  2. Sweeten & Adjust: Add honey or maple syrup if desired. Blend until smooth and creamy.

  3. Serve & Enjoy!: Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately for the freshest flavor and maximum nutrients.
