The Owners purchased this 2,700 square foot river front home with the intent to make it their own. This included the complete gut and redesign of the entire first floor and a portion of the second floor. New cased openings were cut or enlarged in the existing first floor walls to open each room into the adjacent room creating an open space floor plan and improved traffic flow through the space. The existing kitchen was demolished for a new layout that included a peninsula providing additional seating, farmhouse sink and floor-to-ceiling pantry cabinets. The master bathroom and walk-in-closet on the second floor were reconfigured to eliminate wasted space, expand and open up the bathroom. The basement was finished into a new home theater.
