I moved to Cedar Park when I was three. When you’re that age, you don’t understand a lot about the world. You certainly don’t understand how impactful it’s going to be to pack up your toys and have them taken eight long hours away. Yet, at 22, looking back on everything that you’ve gotten to do in life thus far, you recognize what it means to come home.
October marks the start of my favorite time of the year. While I may not remember putting on my dinosaur Halloween costume for my first trick-or-treating experience in Texas, I will never have to truly forget it. My mom took photos that will last a lifetime.
That’s what I hope that our community gets out of every single publication of City Lifestyle… A sense of self. A celebration of moments. A feeling of being home.
