Healing From Within

Tulsa's Inspire Med Spa's innovative treatments draw upon the body's own systems for healing

In today’s corporate-dominant business climate, family businesses stand out. But to discover a Native American and veteran-owned family business – one that provides innovative, cost-reducing medical care right here in Tulsa – is to stumble upon a hidden gem.

Inspire Med Spa, tucked inside the Keller Williams building on 21st Street, focuses on regenerative medicine with treatments that harness the body’s own power to heal.

Whether they’re treating women who have just given birth or patients struggling with injuries or joint pain, Inspire Med Spa’s mission is largely to help clients avoid costly surgeries with extensive recovery periods. Dr. Charles Knife Chief, Inspire Med Spa’s medical director and an OBGYN of more than 40 years, and his daughter, orthopedic surgeon Dr. Sarah Knife Chief, opened the practice to help patients with safe, minimally-invasive, and long-lasting treatments.

“She could be in the hospitals making a ton of money on surgery, but instead she works here at our family business to do everything she can to prevent people from having to have surgery,” office manager Silva Knife Chief says, referring to Dr. Sarah Knife Chief.

Inspire Med Spa offers treatments like platelet-rich plasma therapy, which capitalizes on the patient’s own healing systems to improve musculoskeletal problems, prolotherapy, a non-surgical procedure designed to heal damage to muscles, ligaments, and joints, and lidocaine infusions, which help treat acute pain. But they don’t just treat physical ailments. Dr. Sarah Knife Chief served as a major in the U. S. Army and sympathizes with the needs of veterans as they navigate struggles like PTSD, anxiety, and depression. Her background motivated her to expand the medical spa’s services to include Stellate Ganglion Injections. Inspire Med Spa says these injections, which they offer at a discounted rate for veterans, help “reset” the nervous system and aid in recovery from mental health disorders.

With treatments supporting clients’ physical, cosmetic, and mental health-related needs, Inspire Med Spa aims to improve Tulsans’ health with personal, effective care.
