Chia Seed Pudding

Heart Healthy Bowl

Serves one



2 tablespoons chia seeds

¼ cup milk

1 teaspoon honey

1/3 cup blueberries

¼ cup chopped spinach leaves

6 raspberries or blackberries

6 to 8 walnuts


Make Chia Seed Pudding by mixing together 2 tablespoons of chia seeds, ¼ cup of milk of your choice and 1 teaspoon of honey. Leave in the refrigerator overnight. Chia seeds will swell.

Put Chia Seed Pudding in a bowl. Arrange the fresh fruit, spinach and nuts over the pudding.

Chia seeds promote heart health, help control blood sugar and can help prevent osteoporosis.
