Get Cozy this Season with Basil Parmesan Orzo

Simple and comforting, this orzo pasta is sure to be a family favorite

Basil Parmesan Orzo 

Ingredients 

Orzo pasta (16 oz package) 

2 T olive oil 

4 cups chicken broth 

2/3 cup fresh basil, thinly chopped 

1/2 cup shredded parmesan 

Sea salt and fresh black pepper (amount based on preference)

Directions 

Add olive oil and uncooked orzo pasta to a large non-stick skillet. Stir. Brown the orzo pasta for 5 minutes on low. Once the pasta is browned, add 4 cups of chicken broth, add a lid, and simmer on low for 30-35 minutes. Stir occasionally. Let the pasta cook and soften. Once the chicken broth is absorbed, add the fresh basil, parmesan, salt and pepper. Serve warm.
