Due to its outstanding parks system, Hendersonville offers residents the opportunity to take part in a wide variety of recreational clubs. These organizations provide each participant with a chance to have fun, learn new skills, improve fitness and gain new friends.
Disc Golf
One of the fastest growing recreational activities is disc golf. Combining golf and frisbees, disc golf is a hit for players of all ages. Many players take part in the Music City Disc Golf Association and play at Sanders Ferry Park and other courses.
Running
Running is an activity enjoyed year-round by area enthusiasts. The Hendersonville Running Club provides members with regular running and social activities.

Inline Hockey
Recently, hockey has exploded in popularity. While some play on ice, others hone their skills through inline hockey. Locally, Hendersonville has one of the area’s newest and finest inline facilities at Volunteer Park, with most practices and games managed by the Hendersonville Inline Hockey Association.
