One Stop Shopping for Easter Baskets

Many children look forward to the Easter bunny dropping off a basket with a combination of colored eggs, toys, candies and chocolate treats the night before Easter.

A local toy store, Tulsa Toy Depot, and candy store, Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, sit side by side at 101st and Sheridan and make it a tradition each year to display a giant chocolate bunny that the children look up at in awe. The stores help parents by making free Easter Baskets and wrapping them in cellophane and colorful bows. They have solid chocolate bunnies, jellybeans, Easter bunny caramel apples, chocolate eggs and much more. The toy store has over 10,000 items in toys, games, books, crafts and puzzles.

Recommended gifts included in the pictured basket include Stuart Little by E. B. White, a Camping pocket guide, Coggy for ages 6+, Smartmax Magnetic Discovery for ages 1.5 - 5, Easter books and The Easter Story Egg which is a family activity that celebrates the true meaning of Easter. Candy includes a solid chocolate bunny, carrot jelly beans (orange with orange sherbet), a mixture of chocolate eggs that include key lime, cream, and peanut butter fillings as well as a dark chocolate raspberry egg and a milk chocolate bar.

Owner Ryan Mcadams says “We do free gift wrap all year long and also create free Easter baskets with your items. Besides helping you choose the perfect Easter gift at Tulsa Toy Depot, we can also help you find your chocolate bunnies and other treats at Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory.”
