After retiring from the military as a medical administrator, she continued her career in nursing, but an unexpected turn of events changed her trajectory. After being attacked by a dog and suffering significant damage to her leg, standing on her feet all day was no longer possible. While considering a new career, she discovered an opportunity to open a franchise of Dream Vacations, and her life took a very different path.

Since launching her company in 2006, Michelle has been exploring the world and continues to learn about new experiences to share with her clients. She will even provide information on passports, visas, customs, insurance, vaccinations, and trip cancellation policies.
January through April is known as WAVE Season, when travel advisors are busiest booking cruises. It’s the ultimate vacation experience when you wake up in a new city each day but only need to pack and unpack once. Popular destinations include Hawaii, the Mediterranean, the Caribbean, Norway, Japan, and Alaska.
Michelle just completed a Norwegian Prima charity cruise from Port Canaveral, which had stops in Cozumel, the Grand Cayman Islands, and other destinations to benefit the Pararescue Foundation. It’s a 501(c)3 non-profit organization very near and dear to her heart that is dedicated to exclusively supporting U.S. Air Force Pararescue and Combat Rescue Officer service members, veterans, and their families. She and her husband of 29 years, also a retired veteran, know firsthand the dangers of executing technical rescue operations worldwide, regardless of enemy threat or environmental conditions, and the toll it takes on military families. Together they raise funds and awareness of the important work of the foundation.
International travelers have made Spain a very popular destination.
