History Meets Luxury

At The Lodge On Lake Lure

Nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains sits a 1930s timeless architectural building now known as The Lodge on Lake Lure. Built originally as an escape for North Carolina's state troopers, the building became a public getaway just a few decades ago. Lovingly and carefully restored during the spring of 2022 and under new ownership, The Lodge on Lake Lure is a perfect escape that allows guests to become one with nature.

Mixing a modern and upscale flair while staying true to the building's historic almost 100-year-old roots, each of the 18 guest rooms offers both serenity and comfort while also offering spectacular views of the lake. The lobby is like a giant living room inviting you to sit down, have a drink, read a book, play a quiet board game or enjoy some casual conversation in front of the large fireplace. In addition to all of this charm, the lodge has a pleasant, in-house restaurant, Appalachia, that is open seven days a week.

Woods and flower gardens surround the lodge and a boat slip is currently under construction so all guests will have direct lake access by spring of this year.

Just a five-and-a-half hour drive from Franklin, this gem will easily become your go-to spot while visiting Lake Lure. LodgeOnLakeLure.com
