Sixty members of the "friends and family" of Pascack Valley City Lifestyle connected for a networking event recently at Taverna on the Green at the Paramus Golf Course in Paramus.
Taverna on the Green opened in October of 2022. The space was originally a 1790s carriage house, enticing guests to be immersed in the 18th-century ambiance while enjoying the event.
"Taverna on the Green provides country club service without the Membership," states owner Victoria Tahhan. "Our menu features classic American dishes with Mediterranean flair." Guests enjoyed Taverna's "secret recipe" meatballs, penne in a creamy vodka sauce, tasty charcuterie, and happy hour cocktails.
Pascack Valley City Lifestyle's publisher, Anthony Rizzo, hosted the event to help the magazine's advertising partners and local business owners network and build potential collaborations.
"As always, our quarterly networking events are amazing," says Anthony. "We often host them at the restaurants owned by our local partners to showcase their beautiful space, food, and service. We always have new faces, which is great for everyone."
Steven Hopper, President of Pratt Plumbing, Heating, and Air, noted, "I was glad to meet with many of the area's top-notch businesses and share experiences within the Pascack Valley. I'm proud to be associated with great people and the businesses they have built!"
Linda Chinman Pollack, owner of North Jersey Home Maintenance Group also enjoyed the event. "It is rewarding to get to know one another and see how we can assist each other."
"Networking with Pascack Valley business owners has been a valuable asset. Meeting and learning about other resources has been a great experience," says Raymond Sweeney of Frames By You/Crooked Halo.
