Holiday Entertaining

Entertain guests and family with ease and elegance

With the holidays upon us, busy schedules and company to plan for, we reached out to Chef Bill Tackett, the owner of Bluestone Steakhouse and Seafood, for a menu that is both elegant and delicious but without a lot of fuss and time.

MENU

Beef or Chicken - choose one of the following:

  • Beef Tenderloin
  • Fillet Mignon
  • Ribeye
  • Sirloin
  • Chicken Breast

Bugogee Sauce for meat – recipe below

Asparagus

Steamed Rice with Butter

Cheesecake - plain or your preference of flavor

The recommended method for cooking the meat is to grill it but if not available, then pan sear. The Bugogee Sauce makes this dinner extraordinary.

Bluestone Steak House and Seafood is located on the northwest corner of 101st and Sheridan in Tulsa, OK, and is dedicated to “scratch cooking” with all food, including sauces, prepared on-site from fresh ingredients. Wine lovers will appreciate Bluestone’s dedication to the best wine drinking experience.

BUGOGEE SAUCE

Ingredients

1 teaspoon Olive Oil

½ cup Brown Sugar

3 ounces Butter

½ cup Soy Sauce

½ teaspoon Fresh Ground Ginger

½ teaspoon Fresh Minced Garlic

½ teaspoon Chopped Shallots

Place all Sauce Ingredients in the pan used to cook the beef or chicken (if pan seared) and heat until shallots and ginger are cooked and sugar is dissolved. Wisk until you have a smooth consistency and serve. If the sauce is not thick enough add starch & water.
