Owners Chef Johnny and his wife Kasie both left their high power, high paying jobs to create their vision of what a restaurant should truly be. They started by finding a location, a neighborhood, a people, that inspired them to bring the restaurant to life. Then, Johnny began to curate and engineer a menu that married the best products and ingredients with the idea of "Fonda" (a hole in wall, the kind of joint that has the best food) and "Fina" (fine dining, food forward, chef curated). Johnny and his team of incredible chefs make everything in-house. They bring the raw product in and, through a labor of love, bring the most mouth-watering creations to life! The contemporary Mexican fare pays homage to Johnny's culturally rich heritage and love of food that began when he was just a boy.
Creativity and skill are on full display as you sit at the chef's counter and watch Alyssa, Carmen, Jordan, Sergio, Johnny, and Eric carefully and proudly create the dishes they will serve.
