Tip: Check if it’s one fixture or the whole house. Clean the spout to remove buildup.

4. Running Toilets
Tip: Confirm a leaking toilet tank with a few drops of food coloring in the tank. Watch to see if the dye shows up in the bowl without flushing. Adjust the chain or replace faulty parts. Most fixes are hardware store simple.

5. Running out of Hot Water
Tip: Inspect the pilot on your water heater. Also, verify that the thermostat is set to the correct temperature. Also check the drain pan for water, indicating a leak.
Call Kerwin if: The pilot won’t stay lit, there’s a leak, or you still don’t have enough hot water.
