Senior Living at Home

Home Instead helps you maintain normalcy & independence.

There’s no place like home, so what better place to spend the twilight years of your life than right in the comfort of your own personal space?

This belief is something that the professionals at Home Instead Senior Care truly embrace. Their services make seniors’ lives easier by providing in-home personal care, Alzheimer’s care, hospice support, companion care, “Home Makers” services, transportation/escort service to church or other outings, and more. They can also follow the patient to the hospital as a private caregiver, or provide services at independent living communities.

Home Instead franchise owner Ken Tabb extends the same level of unmatched care and compassion to each patient that he would expect for his own family. He has been blessed with the opportunity to help raise two wonderful children, Brieana and Zsa-Rhya.

“Being a part of their lives has taught me what it means to love someone unconditionally,” he says. “Brieana was born with Cerebral Palsy, but she didn’t allow that to stop her from graduating from college. She inspires me to never let life’s obstacles stop me from pursuing my dreams. Caring for these young ladies has taught me that life isn’t just about obtaining possessions, but about giving back without expecting anything in return. I believe this is a heart of a father.”

Ken and his highly trained team work diligently to ensure that every patient (and their families) have consistent access to live telephone support—24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and additional resources, including live chat, through a convenient online portal.

“We truly care about our clients and their families, [which we demonstrate] in every interaction. Sometimes, we have clients that will call us just to talk—we all have moments when we just need someone there to listen!” he says.

Home Instead helps its clients maintain as much normalcy as possible in their daily routines. “We frequently hear how much clients and their families appreciate us attempting to consistently send the same caregiver. We also provide a ‘care team’ approach for each client so that there is a back-up to the assigned caregiver.”

Home Instead (Home Office) facilitates several charitable events throughout the year, such as Santa for Seniors, Pen Pals for Seniors, and Give65, supporting initiatives like Alzheimer’s Disease, health and wellness, education, research, and more. With some relief from the pandemic, Ken plans on further developing these endeavors.

“This year, our goal is to increase our community presence by partnering with families, health care organizations, and care facilities in need of caregiver support for instrumental activities of daily living, which represent key life tasks that people need to live at home and be fully independent,” says Ken.

For the Home Instead team, continual growth starts with making the most of each day.

“Every day we aspire to serve our community, and to provide our clients with exceptional CARE services because we CARE.” https://www.homeinstead.com/location/280/
