Older homes often have odd rooms that don’t fit the lifestyle of modern families….especially families as big as ours. Except for reconfiguring the kitchen at 408 Gill, I didn’t want to make many significant changes to the layout of this characteristically classic old home. The existing sunroom will become our ‘pool house’ room, and the old sleeping porch will become our family room. But what will we do with the home’s formal family room? We are converting it into a Hollywood Regency Cocktail Lounge.
