Nestled along the serene shores of Washington’s Hood Canal, Alderwood Resort offers a perfect blend of nature and comfort. From kayaking and forest hikes to cozy cottages and gourmet dining, it’s a peaceful haven where families can unplug, reconnect, and experience the beauty of the Puget Sound in every season.
The property was founded in 1913 when there were no roads in existence, so guests arrived by canoe. Since that time, the property ownership has evolved and changed hands a few times, with the current owner being North Forty Lodging, who purchased the property in 2001. Nearly everything onsite has been beautifully redesigned, refurbished, and rebuilt.
