Hosting a Housewarming...

Let's Party!

Whether you’re throwing your own housewarming party, or a friend or family member is hosting one for you, here are some great tips with easy recipes to ensure your party is a success! 

Hosting tip #1 - Keep it simple. Don’t stress the details. Keep invites, food and decorations to a minimum.

Hosting tip #2 - Ask people to RSVP. Make it easy by opting for evites or asking for a quick text reply.

Hosting tip #3 - Set the mood with music. Music generally always puts people in a good mood and there are actually housewarming playlists on places like Spotify!

Delicious Turkey Roll Ups
+ 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
+ 1/4 cup cranberry sauce
+ 8 (10-inch) flour tortillas
+ 1/2 head lettuce torn into 4-inch pieces
+ 16 slices turkey
+ 16 slices Havarti or Swiss cheese, halved
+ 2 medium tomatoes, halved and sliced


1. Mix cream cheese with cranberry sauce.
2. Lay tortilla flat and spread a thick layer of cream cheese to the edges. Layer three lettuce
leaves down the middle.
3. Layer two slices of turkey and four pieces of cheese on top of lettuce. Top with tomatoes.
4. Roll one end of tortilla tightly toward filling, and continue rolling until filling is tightly
wrapped and cream cheese holds rollup together.
5. Wrap tortillas in plastic wrap.
6. Chill. Slice tortillas into eight pieces.

Yummy Spinach Artichoke Dip
+ 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
+ 2/3 cup sour cream
+ 1/3 cup mayonnaise
+ 2 cloves garlic, minced
+ 1 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese
+ 1/2 cup shredded parmesan cheese
+ 1/2 cup gruyere cheese
+ 10 oz. frozen chopped spinach, defrosted and squeezed dry
+ 14 oz. marinated artichoke hearts, chopped

1. Preheat oven to 375.
2. Combine cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise and garlic with hand mixer until fluffy.
3. Stir in parmesan cheese, 1 cup mozzarella cheese, gruyere cheese, spinach, and
artichokes.
4. Place in 9x9 casserole dish (or deep-dish pie plate) and top with remaining 1/2 cup
mozzarella cheese.
5. Bake 25-30 minutes or until bubbly and cheese is browned.
6. Slice baguette into 1/2" slices. Lightly brush one side with olive oil. Broil oiled side for
two minutes or until lightly browned.
7. Remove and gently rub each slice with garlic clove. Serve with spinach artichoke dip.

Delectable Brownie Bites
+ 1 cup unsalted butter
+ 2 1/2 cups sugar
+ 1 1/4 cups cocoa powder
+ 1 teaspoon salt
+ 1 teaspoon baking powder
+ 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
+ 4 large eggs
+ 1 1/2 cups flour
+ 2 cups chocolate chips
1. Preheat oven to 350. Lightly grease two mini muffin tins.
2. Melt butter in microwave-safe bowl or saucepan.
3. Remove from heat and add sugar.
4. Stir in cocoa, salt, baking powder, and vanilla.
5. Whisk in eggs.
6. Add flour and chocolate chips.
7. Fill each section of the mini muffin tin until all batter is used.
8. Bake 12-15 minutes.
9. Remove and cool for 10 minutes.
