Enabling homeowners to enjoy more precious moments with their families and friends in unique, luxurious outdoor spaces is the every day mission of the McKinley Construction Management team. MCM founder Cody McKinley says he and his team have been creating stunning outdoor spaces with turnkey services for homeowners for the past five years throughout Collin and Dallas counties, as well as Greater North Texas.
"Our passion for finely crafted woodwork inspires us to turn ordinary backyards into perfect places for making memories and unforgettable gatherings," Cody explains. "At MCM, we don't just build outdoor spaces, we create breathtaking experiences."
Among the projects they handle are landscape design and buildouts, outside kitchens, outdoor living spaces, pools, decks, paver patios, irrigation systems, sodding, driveway installations, sunrooms and home additions. Cody says they can set up outdoor lighting and sound systems around pools or patios, too.
Additionally, the MCM staff provides outdoor furniture through a high-end custom collection, complete with tables, lounge chairs and umbrellas composed of sun- and weather-resistant fabrics, backed by industry-leading warranties.

MCM was founded by Cody McKinley in 2015. He says he inherited part of his talent from his father, who also was a contractor passionate about hand-built creations. Cody's dependable and creative business partner also is his brother-in-law, Chris Weaks.
A hassle-free process is what the MCM team promises. That straightforward process basically boils down to a handful of helpful steps: Customers share their vision with the team, who provides ballpark pricing and schedules an in-home consultation. A project consultant or outdoor designer discusses with customers what they want to achieve with new outdoor spaces, the atmosphere they hope to create, and the features they'd like to have. Then a project timeline and budget is outlined. The next step entails an MCM designer creating a detailed 3D rendering of the outdoor area to help customers visualize their dream space, this includes the layout, materials and colors. After a design is approved, the MCM team builds out the space, while staying in contact with customers throughout the process to address questions.
"Although we work year-round, it's best to sign up for projects at least a season before you really want the project completed," Cody suggests.
Cody says his team is licensed, trained and certified. Additionally MCM offers several financing options and payment arrangements.
Within the community, MCM supports The Colony High School sports leagues, especially football and basketball. They are active in Rock Creek Church in Prosper, and are members of the Frisco Chamber of Commerce.
