Balanced Mind and Body Connection

There’s no time like the present to take charge of your health and fitness. Shake up your usual exercise routine (even if it’s currently non-existent) and consider exploring a new path to total wellness.

Achieving a balanced mind and body connection begins the moment you enter Yorba Linda’s IM=X Pilates and Fitness studio. The energetic vibe is instantaneous and contagious.

Fitness offerings include reformer Pilates, indoor cycle, barre, yoga, and private training to suit your individual needs, experience level, and goals.

You can also shop for must-have workout gear including grip socks, reformer mats, and weighted bangles right in the studio.

Owner and lead instructor Erin Lindsley’s expertise includes more than 10 years of personal experience in Pilates and spans over 20 years in the fitness industry.

Since opening IM=X’s doors nearly four years ago, Erin has carefully crafted her vision to include several modalities of fitness classes designed to keep clients, in her words, “busy and fit!”

In addition to offering a variety of avenues to physical fitness, Erin focuses on providing inviting, inspirational surroundings committed to top-tier cleanliness standards and exceptional customer service.

The results of that dedication show solid success, as evidenced by the studio’s numerous 5-star customer ratings on Google, Yelp, and Mindbody.

“We create a calming and invigorating environment for exercise, complete with motivating instructors and comprehensive, low impact workouts,” she says. “Our instructors are positive and [always] encouraging.”

Although the fitness facility’s workout options are diverse and plentiful, it’s Pilates that has her heart.

“Pilates was a workout which I found to be both challenging yet very low impact,” Erin recalls. “I couldn’t even get into the regular gym scene and found that a studio setting with a small group of students was a great fit for me. After suffering from years of back pain, Pilates strengthened my core, and I was able to eliminate weekly visits to my chiropractor.”

She cites Joseph Pilates’s philosophy (in reference to Contrology) as her well-being mantra, noting his words of wisdom, “Be in control of your body, not at its mercy.”

Erin’s vision for continually growing IM=X Pilates and Fitness shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon. Look for an ever-evolving, expanded menu of class options in the future.

“We are looking to add even more classes and instructors to our studio to give our clients a fantastic, well-rounded experience,” says Erin.

Erin and her team of talented instructors also have a welcoming message for those in the community who may be thinking about stepping up their fitness game.

“We encourage our members to invite neighbors and family members to come and try a class.  We have something for everyone—all ages and all genders!”
