Assembling the dreamiest wedding at The New Inn

Some love stories unfold in the most unexpected ways. For Kaitlyn and Jimmie, their wedding journey was anything but traditional. The pandemic robbed the couple of a traditional wedding. But through the collaboration of various business owners, Kaitlyn and Jimmie were able to have their wedding photos taken at The New Inn.

Dean Arendon, Operations Manager of the curated boutique hotel, reflects on its foundation. Created by Alicia Marshall, The New Inn has welcomed more than 6,500 guests, offering a luxury escape in the heart of Temecula wine country. The five meticulously designed villas provide an unparalleled vineyard experience, complete with in-room couples’ massages and al fresco dining under the stars.

"The New Inn was built with the heart of this community woven into every detail. It’s more than a destination—it’s a place where unforgettable memories are made," Arendon shares.

Capturing the essence of the day was photographer Ada Rey, whose passion for weddings goes beyond the lens.

"I’m a girly girl, and I believe every bride should feel like a princess. I love everything about a wedding—the bouquet, the veil, the shoes, the movement of the dress as she dances. If I wasn’t a photographer, I’d be a dress designer because I just adore wedding gowns,” she shares.

Ada takes a thoughtful approach to location and lighting, ensuring each shot enhances the couple’s beauty.

"I always scout my locations ahead of time. Where a bride gets ready might not have the best light, so I make sure every setting works to their advantage. I want them to look radiant without sweating through their tux or makeup, especially in warmer seasons,” she explains.

While trends come and go, Ada believes in the power of timeless photography.

"Candid moments and film aesthetics are trending for 2024 and 2025, but in 10 years, couples want to look back at their photos and still love them. That’s why I avoid over-filtering or trendy edits—what I capture is what’s truly there. Classic and sophisticated will always be in style,” she says.

At the helm of a beautiful wedding is the perfect wedding planner. Serena Saints, owner and lead planner of Serenity Bloom, a wedding design company renowned for bringing dream weddings to life has two decades of experience in project management and a deep understanding of people and cultures, Saints and her team design every event with precision and heart.

"I made sure every vendor was aligned on the vision—color palettes, ambiance, the emotions we wanted to evoke. Collaboration was key. When every detail, from florals to table settings, is intentional, it elevates the entire experience,” Saints explains. The couple’s wedding bands came from La Masters of Fine Jewelry, floral arrangements from Xquisite Floral, and the elegant lounge furniture was provided by Be Blissful Event Rentals.

Jennifer Thompson has been working within the makeup and hair industry for six years, specializing in bridal. As the stylist behind the bride’s timeless and elegant look for this photoshoot, she showcases the bride’s natural beauty with an updo similar to Sofia Richie or Hayley Bieber’s for their own weddings.

"I want every bride to look in the mirror and see herself—just the most radiant version she’s ever been," Thompson shares. To ensure a flawless, all-day look, she preps with high-end products, sets the style with finishing sprays, and provides a touch-up kit, including the bride’s lip color, beauty blender, and puff.

For the couple’s attire, Blushing Bride Bridal Boutique curated a look that exuded timeless sophistication. Founder Nicole Mayer has spent the past two and a half years building a bridal space filled with warmth, light, and joy—where every bride can feel confident and beautiful.

"I was inspired by the classic elegance of bridal fashion but wanted a modern touch. The gown we selected—a satin, ruched fit-and-flare—perfectly blends cool and classic," Mayer explains. “And for the groom, partnering with Friar Tux ensures a look that’s both timeless and effortlessly comfortable.”

Satin remains the season’s most coveted bridal trend, and with its delicate ruching and off-the-shoulder sleeves, this gown captures everything brides are loving right now.

"More than anything, I believe in wearing what makes you feel incredible. Your wedding day is about celebrating your love, your style—so own it and rock it!" Mayer adds.

As the day unfolded, Grazing Theory kept the couple fueled with their signature single-serve charcuterie cones—perfect for a convenient yet delicious bite during the shoot. Their “Show Me the Love” heart-shaped charcuterie board added a romantic touch to the bridal suite, enhancing the wedding experience with beautifully curated flavors.

As the founder of the award-winning charcuterie business, Gina LaMora crafts experiences that spark joy and conversation. Having grown up in South Africa alongside twenty-four cousins, she explains how food was always at the heart of their gatherings. She sources from local artisans, and partners with small-batch cheesemakers, bakers, and farmers to bring the freshest, highest-quality ingredients to every grazing table. Her ambitions lie in dazzling guests with unforgettable flavors from arranged spreads to curated pairings.

"A wedding should be as memorable for its flavors as it is for its design. Elegant, functional food displays ensure guests are delighted while keeping the event’s flow seamless,” LaMora says.

Through thoughtful collaboration, artistry, and passion, this styled shoot wasn’t just about capturing wedding photos—it was about creating an experience that embodies love, elegance, and the beauty of community.
