What inspired you to design your dream closet?
I envisioned my dream closet as a harmonious trio: organization for function, storage for sanity, and display for joy. From the beginning, I wanted everything to have a place, but also to be on display like a gallery.
Walk us through the layout of your closet.
The centerpiece is a custom island with drawers for jewelry, belts, and scarves. One side of the closet is devoted entirely to a shoe showcase, while the rest of the space is divided into sections for pants, tops, and dress slacks, with dedicated dress areas and handbag storage displayed above.
What is your favorite section of your closet?
My shoe display is my standout spot because I’ve always had a deep love for shoes. It’s like walking into a gallery of personal milestones, with each pair representing a little chapter.
How do you organize your wardrobe?
I organize primarily by color, but texture plays a role too. My casual and everyday dresses have their own section, while my formal attire has a dedicated space of its own. It keeps everything easy to find while creating a visually organized look.
Which brands or designers take up the most space in your closet?
For shoes, it’s a dynamic duo: Christian Louboutin and Nike. It’s an unexpected combination, but it’s authentically me. As for clothing, I don’t stick to a single designer. My closet is a little eclectic adventure that includes everything from luxury pieces to everyday finds.
Tell us about your favorite pieces.
I love my vintage Gucci accordion handbag. For shoes, my most treasured pair is my first Christian Louboutins. They’re leopard, shimmery, classic, and a reminder of a special milestone in my journey.
What are your best tips for keeping a closet organized and clutter-free?
My top tip? A thumbprint doorknob. It keeps my 18-year-old daughter out of my closet! But seriously, everything should have a place. I like being able to look around and immediately know what’s missing, what needs to go to the cleaners, and what needs attention.

Use every inch of available space. No matter the size of your closet, when every area has a purpose, you can create a space that is both beautiful and functional.
