What do you think are the best skills that you bring to your job?

The best skills that I bring to my job are communication and organizational skills. I have found throughout my work that combining those skills allows me to motivate and mobilize a team, as well as build meaningful relationships with our clients.

What is the definition of success for you, personally and professionally?

Success to me means reaching a higher aim or purpose, but also being open to the idea that there is always room for improvement and growth. I, along with my husband, have raised two beautiful children in which we have instilled knowing your worth but also continued personal development. Professionally, it's been similar; owning a business is a huge success, but I always want to be aware of how to improve and grow.

Outside of work/profession, do you have skills or talents that most people do not know about?

Most people in my life would call me one of the craftiest people they know; I have an eye for detail and a serious knack for creating things. For example, I have done beautiful handmade signs for many of my family and friends.

What are some causes you care about?

Education, and increasing access to it, is a cause that is extremely important to me. In my profession, I have the chance to meet many individuals who are the future of healthcare in our country and it solidifies for me every day how important it is to make education available to the generations to come.

Who is someone whom you admire, and why?

My husband is the person I most admire; not only did we enter into a commitment together which has turned into 25 years of a beautiful marriage, we have raised two amazing children together and been able to develop professionally together and in individual endeavors. He is supportive, consistent, and has offered advice and a listening ear while also giving me plenty of space to grow as an individual. I couldn't ask for a better partner in the life we have built.
