These days, there is no shortage of fashion blogs, personal shopping services and clothing stores around the country. However, it is unusual to find all three offerings within one company. Hendersonville has just such a place in My Style Scoop. Established in 2017, My Style Scoop is a custom boutique that offers fashion advise, personalized shopping and hand-selected clothing items for women of all types and ages.
Co-owners Jackie Mewbourne and Nicole Sindle have combined their loves of fashion and retail to provide area women with a unique shopping experience. Their goal is to provide personalized, one-on-one service that is not available elsewhere.
"We offer two shopping perspectives. I am 43, and Nicole is 26, so we see things differently. We hand-select clothing that is trend-appropriate and that has cross-generational appeal. Any woman can wear our clothing," Jackie says.
The My Style Scoop shopping experience encompasses a variety of elements, ranging from home-based wardrobe assessments, personalized fashion consultation, appointment-based in-boutique fitting sessions and online shopping.
"Our goal is to make sure that our customers have the right mix of clothing items so that they always have something appropriate to wear," Nicole says.
My Style Scoop makes heavy use of the Internet and social media sites to regularly interact with customers.
"We not only sell clothing but we also teach our customers how to wear it," Nicole says. "Once they make a purchase, they can always come back to our website and/or our social media pages to learn new ways they can wear their items.”
