Tell us about the couple behind the music.
We are Donna and Chris Colella from Danville, NH. Over the past 16 years, we have entertained audiences around the region, playing a variety of musical styles from top 40 hits and classic rock to country and our original songs. We love performing for private events and at venues like Stone Church, Muddy Waters, Smuttynose Brewery, The Derryfield, and The One Hundred Club.
Donna, what ignited your passion for performing?
Music has always been a big part of my life. I caught the bug the first time I sang "Jeremiah was a Bullfrog" on stage at six years old with my dad and uncles in their band. I sang in church and school choirs and later professionally in a few top 40 bands. Connie Francis and Barbara Streisand inspired me early on.
And Chris, how did your musical journey begin?
I picked up the guitar as a teen and just never looked back. My influencers were Elvis, The Beatles, Neil Young, Rush, and Van Halen. I got my "10,000 hours" of practice in a high school band and continued playing and singing as an adult in a professional cover band.
What do you love most about performing?
As a couple, there's nothing like performing together. We get many compliments on our harmonies and our bond on stage. People always ask if we're married. We pride ourselves on sharing our love for each other, our music, and, most importantly, creating a connection with our audience.
