According to Larry, there are typically two reasons someone might want to update their home. The first motive is expansion.
“With the rise of work-from-home,” Larry explained. “I received more requests than ever to make more room in houses. Mostly, people wanted to expand the size of rooms including master suites, spare rooms, and more.”
More and more homeowners are working hybrid or completely remote and need a space in their houses to reflect that. While it may have been considered more of a luxury to have a home office previously, today, it’s much more common.
The other motive that Larry receives renovation offers is due to social media. So often he has clients show him Instagram or Facebook posts of a home upgrade that someone else did.
