Denise is the author of Smiling Through The Hard Stuff, a chapter in the sixth book of the G.R.I.T. Anthology series "Living Well with G.R.I.T." Denise said, "Jennifer Bardot (Founder of G.R.I.T.) planted the seed to start writing my 'living well' story." As the co-founder and inspirational leader of Martha's Hands Home Care and Wellness Services, Denise says, "By putting my story in writing, I can more fully embrace the lessons I learned about who I am, and whose I am."
Denise has been married for 34 years and is the joyful mother of seven children and one grandchild. A lifelong entrepreneur, Denise leads her 250-member team at Martha's Hands to provide over seven million hours of care for older adults.
