Holiday Happenings In And Around The City By The Lake

For many people, the holidays are filled with occasions to make magical memories with friends and family that will last a lifetime. Rock Castle Open House

Dec. 2 – 3:00 p.m.

This event will feature tours, refreshments and photo opportunities with Santa Claus.

 

Deck The Hulls Boat Parade

Dec. 2 – 6:00 p.m.

Mallard’s Point

The annual boat parade will take place in Drakes Creek, featuring colorfully adorned lake vessels.

Yulefest

Dec. 2 – 5 p.m.

Goodlettsville Visitor’s Center

Yulefest is a nostalgic holiday event that will feature music, storytelling and shopping.

 

Hendersonville Christmas Parade/Tree Lighting

Dec. 3 – 1:00 p.m.

Memorial Park

The “Sleigh Bells Ring” themed parade will take place at 1 p.m., followed by the lighting of the city’s official Christmas Tree.

Festival of Lights

Dec. 3 through Dec. 22 – Sunset

Memorial Park and across Hendersonville

Hendersonville Parks will publish a map guiding visitors to colorful light displays spread across the city.

Gallatin Christmas Parade 

Dec. 9 – 12:00 p.m.

Downtown Gallatin

The “Spirit of Christmas” themed parade will feature floats, bands and other special participants.

 

Frostbite Races and Polar Plunge

Dec. 30 – 8:30 a.m.

Sumner County YMCA

Featuring races and a pool plunge, Frostbite is a great way to end the year.
