It's Holiday Pop-Up Bar Season

Surround Oneself (And Sip On) Some Holiday Cheer

What’s that jingle in the air? It could be Santa himself, or it could be some ice in a glass at one of Nashville’s beloved holiday pop-up bars. They are back at it with bells on this year, whether guests are looking for festive decor with plenty of tinsel and lights, holiday movie-themed experiences, or soul-warming cocktails and snacks to fuel up before wrapping all those gifts.

  1. Miracle Bar at Pearl Diver: Until Dec. 28, the beloved Miracle Pop-Up brings booze-infused holiday cheer to East Nashville's award-winning tiki bar. Snag a collectible mystical Christmas unicorn mug filled with spirited cheer and settle in for the Tiki holiday season in style.

  2. JW Starlight: Guests can expect a "bar car" holiday experience in the JW Marriott’s lobby that indulges all of the senses. Find 3D animation and craft cocktails here until Jan. 7, 2024. Purchase tickets online for two to 15 passengers; single seats are available on a first-come first-served basis.

  3. Candy Cane Jane’s: Take sleighs on over to East Nashville’s Jane’s Hideaway for plenty of Christmas trees, sparkling lights and holiday-inspired cocktails. Availability is first-come, first-served.

  4. The Lodge at PROOF: This winter pop-up is a vibe atop the W Nashville. The Lodge at PROOF is a winter wonderland all its own, a snow-covered village with pine trees and lamp posts perfect for a winter photo op. The highlight here are their cabins decked out with cozy seats and chic decor.

  5. Ralphie’s Christmas at Hidden Bar: Catch some holiday cheer with a side of nostalgia at the Noelle Hotel bar that has been transformed into Ralphie’s ultimate holiday party with endless "Oval-Tinis" and festive themed bites. Open on a first-come, first-served basis on Sunday through Thursday, 5 p.m. to midnight and Friday/Saturday from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m.

  6. Chalet 27 at the Westin Nashville: Extend the party well beyond the holiday season at the Westin Nashville’s 27th floor rooftop lounge, L27. Until Feb. 20, 2024, guests can expect a winter-white oasis inspired by the Swiss Alps and of course, theme-appropriate cocktails and bites with which to warm up. Reservations are encouraged.

  7. Camp Bobby at Bobby Hotel: Take the elevator up to the rooftop bar at Bobby Hotel for 1970s campsite-inspired fun. Of course the rooftop’s centerpiece, the retrofitted 1956 Scenicruiser-turned-groovy lounge adds to the vibe here, with their locally famous igloos and personal campfires, of course serving fun snacks and libations that fit the theme. It’s open daily, with igloos and Scenicruiser Lounge available only by reservation and food and beverage minimums. Fire pits and tented bar are available for walk-ins on a first-come, first-served basis.

  8. Saint Nicky's brings the seasonal joy back to Nicky's Coal Fired in the form of Christmas tree-shaped pasta and themed cocktails (such as a Snowflake Spritz or Gingerbread Old Fashioned), plus plenty of ugly Christmas sweaters plastering the walls. Available until Dec. 23, Nicky's has kicked it up a notch this year with the addition of their heated back patio pop-up: a tiki bar dubbed "Tropical Tidings" complete with "cocktail cabins" where guests can step inside and warm up with Tony's Spiked Hot Cocoa and NA options.
  9. McGavock’s Coffee & Provisions at The Harpeth Hotel is again morphing into an epic Christmas-themed pop-up bar this season. A huge hit last year, its name will remain as “World’s Best Cup of Coffee: A Christmas Bar,” with nods to the Elf movie throughout, in both over-the-top holiday décor and menu.

  10. Buddy’s Bar is a new Christmas Bar pop-up at downtown's Pancake Pantry outpost. Want some food? Try some "Spaghetti and Syrup" with or a You Smell Like Beef and Cheese and charcuterie smorgasbord alongside a whole rainbow of inspired cocktail for the season. Buddy’s Bar will be open on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 6-11 p.m. until Jan. 6.
