Jackie Zaph is a woman on a mission: To offer excellent customer service while giving people great furniture at a fair price.
“We want people to always feel welcome in our stores,” says Jackie. “I feel the best customer is a happy customer!”
Indeed, Jackie’s love of people is evident the moment someone walks into one of her establishments as she engages in conversation with her stream of shoppers. Many of her customers have become her friends.
Red Cliffs Consignment
Jackie, who opened Class Act Consignments in Santa Clara in 2018, recently took ownership of Red Cliffs Consignment on Mall Drive. She merged the inventory of the two stores, and now has three times the showroom space totaling more than 5,200 square feet.
“In the consignment store we specialize in top-quality used furniture, art and home décor,” says Jackie. “Customers often ask us if this really is used furniture because our items are so nice.”
Red Cliffs Consignment has everything one would need to set up a comfortable home at bargain prices. From sofas to rugs, to wall art, to tables and chairs and even Christmas decorations—it’s all there.
In an amusing tone and with a twinkle in her eye, Jackie says, “When we had Class Act, we were close to Tuacahn Amphitheatre, so we did a little play on words—that we were a class act like our Tuacahn neighbors—letting people know we wanted to be known for our top-notch products.”
Bodega Southwest Furniture
Jackie also owns Bodega Southwest Furniture located in the historic Santa Clara.
She says, “We sell furniture of the Southwest—metal wall art, vases, home décor and garden deco. Everything is imported from Mexico, all handmade, real wood, real leather, real cowhides, real copper, all one-of-a-kind pieces.”

Jackie is quick to praise her excellent team of coworkers, adding that without them she could not do what she does.
“We all have the same goals about treating our customers like friends and family,” says Jackie.
She adds, "I'm grateful to live and work in this beautiful community. I believe in God and this great country we call America. I'm grateful each day to make someone's life a little better, to say a kind word or to offer a real smile."
