Boerne author Jolene Navarro is a seventh-generation Texan and Publisher’s Weekly bestselling author. Her life, much like her stories, is filled with faith, family, laughter, and all of life's wonderful messiness. As much as the world changes, people stay the same. Good and evil. Vow-keepers and heartbreakers. Jolene married a vow-keeper who shows her that dancing in the rain never gets old. Growing up between Boerne and Leakey makes writing about the Hill Country as natural as breathing.
But the writing itself didn’t come easy. In college, she discovered dysgraphia was the reason spelling and grammar were a challenge for her, but the words and stories would not leave her alone. So, at forty she chose to pursue a dream of writing a book. Four years later her agent had sold her first book to Harlequin’s Love Inspired line. Lone Star Holiday was released in 2013.
