Warnock Foot & Ankle Center Provides Compassionate, Comprehensive Podiatric Services

Choosing the optimal foot and ankle specialist makes a huge difference in one's long-term health and especially during injury or treatment recovery periods. That's why the professional team at Warnock Foot & Ankle Center in Greenwood provides attentive care, advanced treatments and an intentionally calm, welcoming environment dedicated to patients' well-being.

"We're committed to creating customized care plans that meet patients' needs and help them return to the activities they love," confirms Dr. Aaron Warnock, DPM, AACFAS, as the Center's owner. "We combine modern medical technology with personalized, hands-on attention. Our diagnostic tools help us quickly and accurately identify the source of discomfort, while our treatment options are designed to deliver lasting relief."

He says he believes it's essential to be accessible to patients, and to provide responsive customer service. "When someone calls us, we're going to answer the phone or call back to follow up."

Located at 1458 W. Stones Crossing Road, Ste. 103, this patient-centered staff who launched during October 2025 offers foot health for all ages, from children with growth-related concerns to teen athletes to adults managing chronic conditions such as arthritis or diabetes.

"My grandmother dealt with being a Type I diabetic, and I used to go to the doctor's appointments with her. She had to have amputations, and that led me to thinking I wanted to be a trauma surgeon when I was young," he explains.

Brittni Warnock, practice manager, receptionist and Dr. Warnock's spouse, says the team provides care for various types of podiatric conditions, including Achilles tendonitis; athlete's foot; bunions; diabetic foot care; flatfoot (fallen arches); ingrown toenails; metatarsalgia; onychomycosis (nail fungus); plantar fasciitis; sprains/strains and toe deformities.

Healthy habits and proactive care are imperative to preventing foot and ankle problems before they start. Dr. Warnock says regular checkups can identify issues early, and proper foot care guidance can avoid complications. "Our goal is to keep patients' feet strong and pain-free," he adds.

Dr. Warnock is a board-certified podiatrist who earned his bachelor's degree in biology with a minor in physics from Franklin College in 2009. He then graduated from Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine with his Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine in 2013. He completed a rigorous, three-year residency program at Midwestern University in Dyer. He had eight-plus years of private practice experience before opening his own podiatry clinic.

He spent his early life as a go-kart national champion, former sprint car dirt driver and certified journeyman machinist — all activities that enhanced his ability to think strategically and to work with his hands in detailed fashion. "If I ever have to have surgery, I'm first going to ask the potential doctor what's the last thing they built themselves," he explains.

Podiatry is a heavily procedure- and surgical-oriented medical care in the office. Dr. Warnock points to treatments such as injections, trimming calluses, freezing warts and helping patients to regain mobility.

Additionally, Dr. Warnock has extensive experience in wound care centers, where he has developed a well-rounded approach to both surgical and non-surgical treatment of diabetic wounds, including reconstructive surgery. "People with unhealing wounds tend to make their way to me. I have a good track record of saving feet and legs that have plagued people for a long time. These types of wounds can come from venous leg ulcers, fractures, sports injuries, diabetes, bed-prompted pressure ulcers, disabled patients, accident traumas or those confined to wheelchairs," he says.

The clinic's newest service provides shockwave technology to loosen up scar tissue. The team's hours of operation are Mondays through Fridays 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
