Memorial resident Robin Conner is now president of Martha Turner Sotheby’s International Realty in Houston. The position was vacated in March by retiring industry veteran Marilyn Thompson who had a successful 30-year career with the company. As president, she leads nearly 300 independent sales associates and six offices affiliated with Sotheby’s International Realty in Houston.
Conner began her career with Martha Turner Sotheby’s International Realty in 2004 as a successful sales associate. A consistent multi-million-dollar producer, Conner has been honored as one of the top ten producers at the company and has been a member of the company’s prestigious Circle of Excellence and Hall of Fame. In January 2015, Conner was tapped for a position on the management team and rose to senior vice president, where she led the sales team as well as marketing and branding. “I am excited for the opportunity to lead the company’s presence in Houston,” says Conner. “I am a firm believer in the power of the Sotheby’s International Realty brand and all that it has to offer in addition to the incredible sales team, our trusted advisors, and talented leadership team at Martha Turner Sotheby’s International Realty.”
Although men dominate the c-suite of most large real estate brokerages, Conner’s leadership style is not about being the best. Rather, it is about making those around her better regardless of gender. “My variety of roles, functions, and disciplines has allowed me to build my credibility and expertise to harness the power of others and achieve results for the greater good.”
A Houston native and longtime Memorial resident, Conner and her husband reside just one mile from her childhood home, where her children attend the same schools she went to as a child.
