Marble & Canvas is a curated retail gallery located within historic Vanderslice Hall at the Kansas City Art Institute. Opening Saturday April 4, 2026, it presents museum-quality ceramics, fine art, prints, textiles, jewelry, and design-forward objects created by KCAI alumni, faculty, and students.
The initiative was created to elevate alumni on a public stage, expand KCAI’s collector base, strengthen professional pathways for students, and convert creative momentum into campus support.
Marble & Canvas will be open Tuesday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Private shopping appointments will be available upon request.
