Karen's Kitchen Fudge

If you don't consider yourself a baker or candy maker, then this easy fudge recipe from Karen Harberg of Compass Realty is for you. Make it on the stovetop or using the microwave - either way, it turns out rich and creamy. After trying this recipe, you will want to make it again for the holiday season. Ingredients:

18 ounces of semi-sweet chocolate chips

14 ounces of sweetened condensed milk

1 cup of toasted pecan pieces (or nut of your choice)

Method:

Microwave 18 ounces of semi-sweet chocolate chips with 14 ounces of sweetened condensed milk until melted. Microwave in one minute intervals, and as it gets closer to being done, 15-second intervals until it is completely melted. 

Mix in 1-cup toasted pecan pieces (or nuts of your choice).  

Pour into an 8' x 8' Pyrex dish lined with parchment paper. Chill 1-2 hours until firm. Cut into small squares. Enjoy!
