In what has become one of Katy’s most anticipated food and wine events of the season, Katy Sip N Stroll is back this November, promising an unforgettable evening of savory bites & sweet sips, with a glowing twist!
A crisp, fall evening under the stars, live music booming from the awnings, whiffs of tasting stations sauntering in the air, and the sounds of wines whirling in their glass, the atmosphere is aglow in this year’s theme - Let’s Glow!
Spilling out from the grand ballroom of The ARK by Norris Event Center, into the illuminated white-tent lined promenade, with rows of global flavors and bold tastes, the night is truly beaming.
With glowing accents at every turn, including a Glow Bar featuring neon body paint, light-up wearables and luminous decorations, and a vendor award for the best decked out booth - attendance will leave guests beaming for days.
Showcasing more than 35 local restaurant tasting stations, 300 beverage tastings, artisan vendors, and with the 32nd edition of the illustrious Premier Culinary Awards up for grabs, our local talent is up for the challenge.
But, what makes each bite even sweeter? Sip N Stroll proudly benefits Christ Clinic. A place where underserved and uninsured patients can find quality care, compassionate counsel and generous support in times of need. Their motto is simple: “our door is open to all who knock.” And this faith-based nonprofit proves that when one door closes, theirs is always open.
Inside the innovative Katy Gardens co-working space, Christ Clinic has provided care to over 5,000 patients and counting. This past year, they have also welcomed a new holistic partnership with Innovative Wellness in their state-of-the-art facility that nurtures physical, emotional and spiritual health from the inside out.
And in the true spirit of Katy, our community has grown in support over the years, making this event an epicurean epicenter drawing guests from all around the region. Shining a light on the talents and generosity that only our big suburb with a small-town feel can garner.

But, for the more than 35 participating restaurants, this night gets right down to business. Not only are they tasked with creating pint-sized bites that thrill even the harshest food critic, they also have a panel of expert judges to impress.
You see, at the center of Katy Sip N Stroll is the Premiere Culinary Award, awarded to a first place and runner-up dish.
The Spring event’s illustrious prize went to Chef Ramos of Latin Bites Kitchen, with his passion fruit tuna taco ceviche. A small bite that packs a big punch.
Runner-up Chef Ryan Hallsted of Pearl & Vine proudly simmered in his notable recognition for his braised short rib with caviar béarnaise.
Other special dishes and crowd favorites included Aga’s signature chicken lollipops, Babin’s classic crab cakes, and Saigon Hustle’s Vietnamese crepe spring rolls.
But, capping it all off is their impressive dessert district - which is just as magical and sweet as you’d imagine. With delectable bites as expertly crafted as they are aesthetic from experts like The Alchemy Bake Lab, everyone knows a perfect night cap ends with sweet sips and decadent treats.
