Recently I had the pleasure of speaking with Dan Gagnon, owner of Day and Night Party Rental, and his General Manager Morgan Proulx, about what drives them, and some offers we may have not even known they had. With over 15 years in the business, Day and Night Party Rentals has proven to be the local go-to for your get together entertainment. One other thing I learned after this great conversation… I really want to rent a tent and a bounce house now!
Q: So, I have to know; Are your family parties the best around?
A: Yes, absolutely! We have lots of nieces and nephews, as well as huge 4th of July parties. It’s a nice perk to owning a party rental business.
Q: In such a crazy, serious world, this job must feel like the absolute best thing going. Is this the “Perfect Job?”
A: It sure is. It’s amazing to show up to a house and see the excited look on children’s faces as we are setting up the equipment. Although, they are not as happy when we have to leave.
Q: What are some things you do to keep renters safe, and do you feel it is better to rent than to buy?
A: We definitely think it’s better to rent as opposed to buying your own party equipment. The quality of our bounce houses, slides, and tents is far beyond what you can get in the stores. As far as extra safety is concerned, we ensure that we use oversized stakes, and weighted barrels. We also thoroughly clean and inspect all of our equipment after every use. On top of that, we are fully licensed and insured, so we are accountable for everything we do. Safety is key with us.
Q: What is one local event you are most proud of?
A: We were asked to set up our tents and some kid's entertainment for the fallen Firefighter and Police wiffle ball tournament. It was a great event for a very worthy cause, and we were honored to be a part of it.
