Thinking statewide, 1310 KFKA Radio is, once again, taking action locally for the forthcoming Colorado Gives Day on December 10th through its third annual "Raise the Voice" program on Weld Gives Day.
This year, the station will dedicate a full day’s broadcast to Weld Gives — 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. — in which they will speak to representatives from 48 local nonprofits with the goal of: introducing KFKA listeners to impactful, local nonprofits and inspiring listeners to donate on this annual day of generosity.
"Now in its third year," Weld Community Foundation President/CEO Tim Coons says, "through the partnership of KFKA Radio, Greeley Satellite Rotary, Weld Legacy Foundation and ALLO Fiber, our local nonprofits are being gifted a chance to broadcast their important message loudly to our region."
"We at the station feel we have a unique chance to really amplify the voice of these nonprofits," says Tanner Schwindt, Co-Host of KFKA “Good Morning NOCO” and Sales Manager.
"We believe 'Raise the Voice' on Weld Gives Day is one the best ways to support the nonprofits that make our community special in so many ways!" affirms Greeley Philharmonic Orchestra Executive Director, Ben Barnhart.
