The Healthy Kids Running Series is a national non-profit whose mission is to engage communities and families by providing an inclusive youth running experience, inspiring kids to believe in themselves and lead an active healthy lifestyle. The five-week program for Pre-K through 8th grade takes place once a week and offers age-appropriate running events. Kids earn points for each race they complete. “Our kids have participated in these races since they were little and have loved them,” professes Katie Legrand, mother of 2 runners.
