Andrea Montobbio believes that catered dinners should be as beautiful, engaging and delicious as those served in the finest restaurants. Corners need not be cut, and the quality of ingredients should be paramount. In expanding the repertoire at Enzo Steakhouse & Bar, the team behind the Fayetteville powerhouse restaurant is bringing finesse and flavor to the BuckHaven catering landscape, serving house-made pasta dishes, perfect risotto and gorgeous fresh vegetables at dinner parties, wedding receptions, fundraisers and corporate functions. Because, why should fine dining be confined to just four restaurant walls?
Chef Montobbio grew up in the small town of Capriata d’Orba in Northern Italy, where his family raised their own vegetables and made their own wine. He spent 20 years learning how to make pasta in Italy, bringing his skills to Asellina at Gansevoort Park Hotel on Park Avenue, and later to Atlanta’s Fifth Group Restaurants and STK Atlanta. In 2021, he felt he was at a creative crossroads when his friend and fellow native Italian Carmine Noce opened a conversation about starting a restaurant dedicated to their childhood memories.
The catering menu is a direct reflection of what they create in the restaurant, inspired by Italy’s many regions, each with a flavor profile that will drive the seasonal dishes. “The beauty of the food in Italy’s regions is that it’s based on what the ground provides,” says Chef. “Every part of Italy has a different climate, and it’s exciting to create dishes based on the way the sun hits a certain place or what kind of mountain the water comes from. All of those factors play into the uniqueness of the cooking. That’s what we want to bring to our catering.”
ENZO currently offers catering for parties of all sizes and ‘ENZO at Home’, delivers executive chef Montobbio’s vibrant Italian cuisine every Friday for parties of two to six within a certain radius. Private memberships will be available in the coming weeks.
