Long before becoming the owner of Leawood Dental, Dr. Luke Joliff, D.D.S., envisioned a practice built on trust, comfort, and community. Today, that vision is fully realized in a space where families feel supported, modern dentistry thrives, and strong patient relationships remain at the heart of every visit.
Dr. Joliff grew up in Topeka and always knew Kansas was where he wanted his life and career to unfold. After earning his degree in Human Biology from the University of Kansas, he completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the UMKC School of Dentistry, drawn to the blend of science, artistry, and connection that dentistry offered.
His early years practicing in Oklahoma helped refine the patient-first philosophy that defines his work today, but he always knew he’d come home. Joining and eventually leading Leawood Dental gave him the opportunity to build something truly meaningful for both his patients and his growing family.
“Building Leawood Dental has been one of the great joys of my career,” says Dr. Joliff. “I’m passionate about creating beautiful, healthy smiles, but even more passionate about building strong relationships with the families who trust us with their care. I stay active in continuing education and am a proud member of the American Dental Association, Kansas Dental Association, and the 5th District Dental Society. My goal is simple: to bring my patients the most modern, comfortable, and personalized experience possible.”
At the center of Dr. Joliff’s world is his family.
“My family is at the heart of everything I do. My wife, Taylor, and I live near Leawood with our two daughters, Margot and Louise, and our golden retriever, Mac. We love spending time outside and going on long family walks. They are a big part of the story behind why I love this community and why I’m so proud to serve the families who live here.”
