Tucked away in the scenic countryside of Lebanon, Legacy Farms isn’t just a venue—it’s a place where stories unfold, milestones are celebrated, and unforgettable moments come to life. With its rich history, Southern charm, and impeccable service, Legacy Farms has become a sought-after destination for weddings, corporate events, and special gatherings. But behind the stunning estate and top-tier catering is the inspiring journey of Kellie Bryson, a former nurse who turned her passion for hospitality into a thriving business.
Kellie’s path to the hospitality industry was anything but traditional. She began her career as a CVICU nurse, caring for critically ill patients, but found herself drawn to the joy of baking as a creative escape. What started as a small dessert business in 1996 quickly gained momentum, leading her to launch A Catered Affair and expand into full-scale catering.
With the encouragement of mentors, family, and her now-husband—who once sketched out her first business plan on a cocktail napkin—Kellie took a leap of faith. In 2010, she purchased Legacy Farms, a breathtaking estate with roots dating back to the 1830s. Originally a private home, the property had been transformed into an event venue in the 1990s, and Kellie saw its potential to become something truly special. Over the past 15 years, she and her team have renovated, refined, and reimagined the space, making it the elegant and welcoming venue it is today.
At Legacy Farms, hospitality is an art form. With nearly 30 years in the industry, Kellie has built a team that prides itself on exceptional service, attention to detail, and genuine care for each client. One of her event planners has been with the company for 24 years, a testament to the loyalty and passion that fuel the business.
From handcrafted menus to custom décor, every event at Legacy Farms is designed to be unique. Transparent pricing and clear communication ensure that expectations aren’t just met—they’re exceeded.
Kellie’s success wouldn’t have been possible without the female entrepreneurs and mentors who guided her along the way. Now, she pays it forward by hosting women’s networking events at Legacy Farms, creating a space for businesswomen to connect, learn, and grow.
“I never learned it all by myself,” Kellie says. “So many people helped me along the way, and I believe women deserve a seat at any table they wish.”
Women deserve a seat at any table they wish, and together everyone is stronger.
