Blue Door

Welcome home in 2020 to this beautiful blue entrance!  A front door painted in a sharp color can totally change the whole feel of the face of your home. Inspiration from the Pantone 2020 color of the year Classic Blue is a great place to start to enter into a fresh new look as you freshen up your home in the new decade.

Wallpaper

Wallpaper, wallpaper, wallpaper! You cannot hide from it anymore. Although it’s not your momma’s wallpaper. New, and current designs brings beautiful color and pattern to every room. The layers of Classic Blue in this photo work seamlessly, so will your wallpaper if you have a good installer, which I do.

Swatches

The new decade brings with it color for your Interiors! Grey and white are phasing out to make room for blues mixed with tomato reds, bright yellows, and white of course. Fortunately the grey and white you may have is the perfect backdrop to easily add a pop of color in your fabrics, art, accessories, and rugs. Throw a pillow in Classic Blue (Pantone 2020 color of the year) on your gray sofa to update in a snap!

Kitchen

This would be just another white kitchen without this pop of color on the blue pantry door with antiques mirrors! Notice the window trim and accessories that tie in the color. If you have the trendy white kitchen of the past few years, paint a feature in a beautiful rich color to bring life back to your kitchen!

Walls

These Walls! The Classic Blue paneled walls, cabinets, and trim in a lacquer finish no less makes a fabulous statement. This look never gets old. I used it in a show house in 1998 in grey believe it or not! Don’t be afraid just to paint it all! Also, lacquer on furniture, walls, and cabinets has been sneaking around for a while and will come out full force in this new decade.

Curtains

If you LOVE color you may use it everywhere in your home if done correctly. The base neutral color on the walls, sofa, and rug, ground and welcome the Classic Blue color in the window treatments, pillows, table, lamps ,and accessories for a vibrant, beautiful, and tasteful result!
