Do what makes you happy. Your decorations will be on display for a month or more, so make the most of that time and go for it.
Extend your look with tabletop décor. Manor hand-selects ribbons, tabletop ornaments, nutcrackers in different sizes and just about everything else holiday, from whimsical to elegant.
Feel free to light up every room if multiple trees are your preference. Just remember, Jeremy advises, the more you put up, the more you will take down later.
Organize holiday décor as you store it each year, to make the following year easier. Label boxes and separate ornaments from garlands. Store like items in the same containers.
Consider silk florals of different types and colors to enhance your tree.
Place larger ball ornaments near the center of the tree to create depth, with smaller ornaments on the outside. Rather than hanging ornaments by the string, wind them around the branches so they appear attached.
Select a new ornament or several each year so you’re always adding a new and different twist.
